1.Product Description

 

Copper nickel tube (also known as cupronickel tube) is a copper‑based alloy tubing primarily alloyed with nickel, with typical nickel contents ranging from 10% to 30%. The most common grades are 90/10 (approximately 90% copper and 10% nickel, UNS C70600) and 70/30 (approximately 70% copper and 30% nickel, UNS C71500). These tubes feature a uniform face‑centered cubic (FCC) structure that provides high toughness and excellent resistance to seawater corrosion. The addition of nickel enhances passivation and suppresses the dissolution of copper, promoting the formation of a stable, adherent protective film. Available in both seamless and welded forms, copper nickel tubes are manufactured in accordance with international standards including ASTM B111, ASTM B466, ASME SB111, EN 12451, and GB/T 8890.
