1.  Product Description

Copper nickel elbow is a pipe elbow manufactured from copper-nickel alloy (CuNi), primarily used to change the flow direction of pipeline media. Common material grades include C70600 (90/10 copper nickel), C71500 (70/30 copper nickel), and BFe10-1-1. The product is formed by hot extrusion, cold pushing, or forging, followed by solution annealing treatment to ensure uniform microstructure and freedom from residual stress. With excellent seawater corrosion resistance, erosion resistance, and anti-marine fouling properties, copper nickel elbows are the preferred pipe fittings for marine engineering and corrosive fluid transportation systems. Various connection types are available: butt weld, socket weld, threaded, and flanged. Non-standard angles (e.g., 30°, 60°) and special dimensions can also be customized.

2.Product Applications

Copper nickel elbows are specifically designed for highly corrosive, high-velocity, and marine biofouling-prone environments. Typical applications include:

  • Shipbuilding: Cooling water lines, ballast systems, firefighting systems, seawater mains, and tank cleaning systems on commercial vessels and naval ships.
