Our EEMUA 146 C70600 CuNi 9010 BW LR 45/90 degree butt welding copper nickel elbows are high-performance pipeline components, strictly manufactured in compliance with EEMUA 146 international standard (incorporated in PUB NO 234-2015 for offshore applications). Crafted from premium C70600 copper nickel alloy (CuNi 9010), these fittings adopt butt welding (BW) connection and long radius (LR) design, specialized for industrial pipeline systems requiring reliable connection, corrosion resistance and stable fluid transmission.
The core material C70600 (CuNi 9010) is a high-quality copper-nickel alloy with nominal composition of 88.0%-90.0% copper and 9.0%-11.0% nickel, boasting excellent corrosion resistance—especially against seawater, chemical media and atmospheric oxidation. This makes the elbows ideal for harsh working environments such as marine engineering, offshore platforms and chemical processing plants, where corrosion resistance is critical for long-term operation.
We offer two angle options (45° and 90°) to meet different pipeline direction change needs: 45° elbows for moderate turns, and 90° elbows for right-angle connections. The long radius (LR) design (curvature radius = 1.5 times the pipe diameter) ensures smooth fluid flow, reduces flow resistance and pressure loss, making it suitable for high-pressure pipeline systems. Adopting butt welding (BW) connection, these elbows provide a firm, leak-proof joint with high structural strength, compatible with TIG/MIG welding processes, and the weld strength is consistent with the base material.
Each elbow undergoes precision forging and machining, ensuring accurate dimensions, smooth inner walls and tight tolerances, fully complying with EEMUA 146 standard requirements for copper nickel butt welding fittings. All fittings undergo strict quality inspection, including material composition detection (XRF), weld flaw detection (UT/PT), pressure resistance verification and corrosion resistance test, and can provide EN10204 3.1 certification.
