1.Product Description 

 

Copper nickel pipe is a corrosion‑resistant alloy tube available in two principal grades: 90/10 (C70600) and 70/30 (C71500). It is manufactured as seamless (SMLS) or welded (ERW) and complies with ASTM B466/B111, ASME SB111, EN 12451, and JIS H3300. The alloy’s unique combination of copper and nickel, plus iron and manganese, gives it outstanding resistance to flowing seawater, impingement attack, and crevice corrosion – making it the standard material for naval and offshore piping systems.

 

2.Primary applications:

  • Seawater cooling lines, firewater mains, and ballast systems on ships and FPSOs.

  • Heat exchanger tubes and condensers in power stations and desalination plants.

  • Offshore subsea pipelines and risers (in clad or solid form).

  • Hydraulic and pneumatic control lines in marine environments.

  • Fish farm cages and seawater intake systems.
