1. Product Description
Copper Nickel Plate is a wrought copper‑nickel‑iron‑manganese alloy plate designed for long‑term exposure to seawater and industrial brines. The alloy is characterized by its stable, self‑renewing protective surface film that provides excellent resistance to uniform corrosion, pitting, and crevice corrosion. The most common grades are CuNi90/10 (UNS C70600) and CuNi70/30 (UNS C71500), with iron content carefully controlled to maximize resistance to high‑velocity water. Plates are manufactured by hot rolling, with optional cold rolling for gauges under 4 mm. They are supplied in annealed (soft), stress‑relieved, and cold‑rolled tempers. Surface finishes include hot rolled descaled, cold rolled 2B, polished, satin brushed, and chequered (diamond or teardrop pattern). Typical applications involve seawater piping systems, heat exchanger plates, and structural components in marine environments.
 

2. Product Applications
