1. Product Description
Copper Nickel Plate is a corrosion‑resistant copper‑nickel alloy plate used extensively in seawater, brackish water, and freshwater systems. The alloy combines copper with nickel (typically 10% or 30%) plus iron and manganese to provide improved strength and resistance to flow‑induced corrosion. Common designations include UNS C70600 (CuNi90/10) and UNS C71500 (CuNi70/30), plus Chinese grades BFe10‑1‑1 and BFe30‑1‑1. These plates are produced by hot rolling with subsequent annealing and pickling. Cold rolling can be applied to achieve precise dimensional tolerances and improved surface smoothness. The plates are available in a variety of thicknesses, widths, lengths, tempers (soft, half‑hard, hard), and surface finishes (mill, pickled, 2B bright, polished, chequered). All products comply with ASTM B171, ASME SB171, or GB/T 15272 standards.
