1. Product Description
Copper Nickel Plate is a solid solution strengthened copper‑nickel alloy containing approximately 10% or 30% nickel, with small additions of iron and manganese to enhance resistance to erosion and cavitation. The material is known for its stable passive layer in chloride environments, which provides excellent protection against localized corrosion such as pitting and crevice attack. Copper nickel plates are typically manufactured by hot rolling, followed by annealing and pickling. They can also be cold rolled to achieve precision thickness and improved surface quality. Standard product forms include flat plates, chequered (tread) plates, and profiled plates for heat exchangers. Available surface conditions include hot rolled, cold rolled, pickled, polished, and brushed finishes.

  • Marine Cooling Circuits: Main engine seawater coolers, auxiliary diesel generator coolers, central cooling system plates.
