These copper nickel Cuni flanges are made of C71500 (70/30) alloy with A105 carbon steel structure, designed as raised face weld neck type for high‑pressure industrial piping systems. Threaded flange is the inner hole of the flange is processed into pipe thread, and with threaded pipe matching connection, is a kind of non-welded flange.

Copper and nickel can be infinite solid solution to each other, thus forming a continuous solid solution, that is, regardless of the proportion of each other, and always α-single-phase alloy. When the nickel is fused into the red copper D200, the content is more than 16%, the resulting alloy color becomes relatively close to white as silver, the higher the nickel content, the whiter the color, but, after all, with copper fusion, as long as the nickel content does not exceed 70%, the naked eye will see copper yellow. Moreover, the nickel content of white copper is usually 25%. White copper is the elegant name of copper-nickel alloy, the density between copper and nickel 8.9-8.88.
